NARCOTIC INVESTIGATION LEADS TO COCAINE SEIZURE AND ONE ARREST

EL PASO, TEXAS- On 01-25-2012 at around 4:00 p.m., the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation at 7564 Alameda in El Paso Texas in reference to narcotic activity. Approximately (15) subjects were at that location upon the Sheriff’s Office arrival and were detained. The investigation led to the discovery of a large amount of US currency and two bundles of cocaine. All subjects, except one, were interviewed and released. Further investigation led to the discovery of three additional bundles of cocaine at that same location. One subject was arrested and later booked into the county jail. The Sheriff’s Office investigation led to the seizure of over $23,000 in US currency, five bundles of cocaine weighing 6.3 kilograms (13.8 lbs) and five vehicles.
No further information will be released at this time as this is an ongoing investigation.
