EL PASO, TEXAS- On Thursday, August 25th thru Sunday, August 29th, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Strike Team conducted a “Prostitution Sting Operation” in central El Paso, targeting Montana Avenue and Alameda Avenue. The operation was initiated in response to continued citizen and business complaints of prostitution activity. Prostitution continues to be a problem in our community and it is the source of many other crimes such as assaults, robberies and illegal drug use. Strike Team members took a proactive approach to investigate, arrest and deter those involved in illegal activity. The results of the four day operation are as follows:
For security purposes, the number of Deputies deployed and decoys during the operation will not be disclosed.
