EL PASO, TX – Early Sunday, on 07-24-11 Deputies were working extra-duty/part-time employment at a business when El Paso County Sheriff Deputy Robinson spotted “Wanted Fugitive” Alex Silva trying to enter the Black Pearl night club located at 504 W. San Antonio, at the Union Plaza (Downtown El Paso). Deputy Robinson recognized Fugitive/Silva from a previous incident, involving Alex Silva, on 12-06-09 in which Deputies were dispatched to the 8600 block of Essex (Westway area) in reference to “Deadly Conduct” and residences being shot at. Upon arrival to the residence, Deputies were being shot at by an unknown assailant firing a BB-gun.
On 07-04-11 Fugitive/Silva eluded capture after Deputies stopped a vehicle and the passenger fled on foot. The passenger was none other than Alex Silva. Fugitive/Silva was then “Wanted” for the charge of Evading Arrest.
On 07-24-11, Deputies Robinson and Fernandez took Fugitive/Silva into custody. Silva was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
