EL PASO COUNTY, TEXAS- Strike Team Deputies have arrested 2 of Crime Stoppers of El Paso MOST WANTED. At the start of this weekend, Deputies assigned to the Strike Team Unit acting on several Crime stoppers of El Paso tips received information on the whereabouts of WANTED subjects JACK BARNES (24) & KARIME FIERRO (31). Both had eluded capture just a week earlier.
In the first arrest, JACK BARNES was apprehended at a local motel at 9487 Dyer northeast El Paso, TX. Deputies on surveillance spotted BARNES exiting his hotel room where he was hiding out. Deputies took him into custody as he attempted to leave in a vehicle. At the time of his arrest, Deputies noticed BARNES was limping as a result of an injury he sustained a week earlier as he eluded capture by jumping out of a window at the same motel room (15-20 ft. drop) & eventually running into the desert.

In the second arrest, KARIME FIERRO was apprehended after driving off from a home in the 4900 block of Royal in Northeast El Paso, TX. Deputies were hot on the trail of FIERRO who knew she was wanted & was eluding capture. At the time of her arrest, FIERRO tried losing undercover unmarked units by driving recklessly attempting to leave the area. She drove into some apartments on Fairbanks which is where she was taken into custody. FIERRO was taken into custody along with her boyfriend who was also wanted on outstanding SO Traffic Warrants.
Both arrests took place over the weekend just about an hour apart between 8:30-930 am.
