Sheriff BadgeEL PASO, TEXAS- Earlier today, May 9, 2011 at 7:30 am, El Paso County Sheriff Richard Wiles began his work week as a “Nurse for a Day” at Sierra Medical Center commemorating National Nurses Week which starts today May 9th & continues thru Friday May 13, 2011.

National Nurses Week is one of the nation's largest health care events, recognizing the contributions & commitments nurses make. National Nurses Week is celebrated annually to coincide with the birthday of Florence nightingale, founder of Modern Nursing. Sierra Medical center kicked off National Nurses week today & will continue all week with recognition activities & celebrations throughout the week.
