EVENT: MAN ARRESTED IN JUAREZ IS A MANHUNT MONDAY FUGITIVE USING DIFFERENT NAME / CAPTURE NO. 55

Juarez, Mexico- This past Sunday 08-30-10, Mexican Federal Police arrested 3 alleged members of the Artistas Asesinos Gang in Juarez, Mexico. One of the subjects arrested was said to be IVAN ORTIZ LARA, alias “EL PELOS”. He & two other men were in possession of several high powered fully automatic rifles & ammunition.
After reviewing the information, U.S. Officials confirmed IVAN ORTIZ LARA was in fact JAVIER IVAN MADRID-LARA who was profiled on MANHUNT MONDAY in May 2010 wanted for AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT & TERRORISTIC THREAT (read more…).
MADRID ’S arrest marked the 55th MANHUNT MONDAY arrest out of 95 Fugitives profiled.
