MIGUEL GONZALEZ

El Paso, Texas- This week’s MANHUNT MONDAY Most Wanted Fugitive is an  individual wanted for a violent assault on his ex-wife. The target is identified as MIGUEL GONZALEZ (36) of El Paso, TX.

OCTOBER 2009: This past October 1st, 2009, EPPD Officers responded to La Frontera Bar located at 3300 Alameda El Paso, TX in reference to a family assault that had just occurred. Officers arrived to find a 33 year-old woman (Victim) on the floor with injuries to her face & right ankle. According to eye witnesses, GONZALEZ entered the establishment approached his ex-wife & punched her in the face with a closed fist causing the victim to fall to the ground injuring her ankle. GONZALEZ quickly fled the scene prior to the officers arrival & has managed to remain at large eluding capture. The Victim sustained a broken ankle in her fall. A Protective order was issued against GONZALEZ shortly after.

Despite being wanted, GONZALEZ continues to torment & stalk the victim. GONZALEZ is wanted for AGGRAVATED ASSAULT + an additional arrest warrant for STALKING has been issued against him + for another ASSAULT & CRMINAL MISCHIEF offense he committed against the same Victim.   

GONZALEZ’ criminal history shows various arrests for Aggravated Assault w/ Deadly Weapon, Multiple arrests for Delivery & Possession of Cocaine, & Escape. MIGUEL GONZALEZ is a Mexican National who was previously deported. He returned to the U.S. illegally and continued his criminal ways. GONZALEZ is believed to remain in the Borderland hiding with friends or relatives. 

Law Enforcement Officials are asking the public - if anyone has seen or has any information on the  whereabouts of MIGUEL GONZALEZ to please contact the Sheriff’s Office (915) 546-2280 or  Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-TIPS (8477). Callers will remain anonymous & may be eligible for a reward if the information provided leads to the apprehension of the individuals featured.
