LOCATION OF OCCURRENCE: 19000 block of Alameda Tornillo, TX

DATE / TIME: Monday, June 7, 2010  9:30 AM

RESULT:  Sought Fugitive Arrested

handcuffs TORNILLO, TX-  Early this Monday morning 06-07-10 at about 9:30am, Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a residence in 19000 block Alameda where DPS Troopers had detained a subject who was identified as WANTED FUGITIVE MARIANO FELIZ Jr. who was wanted for a violent DPS assault on his sister in-law which occurred on May 20, 2010. In that incident, FELIZ JR. & his brother had been physically assaulting a  woman over the course of 3 days.   

DPS Troopers confirmed the identity of FELIZ Jr. and turned him over to Sheriff’s Deputies. Information provided to Deputies indicated FELIZ Jr. was found asleep in one of the bedrooms of the residence where he was taken into custody without incident.

FELIZ JR. was just featured in last week’s (May 31st) Edition of MANHUNT MONDAY
