RESULT: ARREST MADE - Investigation Continues
EL PASO COUNTY, TX- Early Saturday morning 05/22 at 3:10 am, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 1500 block of Tiffany, in Westway, TX in reference to a family Violence in progress. Deputies arrived and heard a scuffle inside the residence. As Deputies entered the home, they observed a male subject run into a back bedroom of the residence & closed the door. Deputies were able to gain access into the unlocked room where male subject began violently swinging at Deputies with closed fists. Deputies had to taser the combative subject to get him under control. A Sheriff’s Deputy suffered minor injuries during the struggle.
The subject was identified as RAFAEL DIAZ JR. (32) of Westway, TX. He was booked at EPCDF on several charges.
